trying to make a point to windsor sec that with the 25k and slough doing the repairs and the windsor fan ( one ) painting the fixture board there's not much to pay out for repairs i was backing ian up on this !!!!!!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bigshock.gif" alt="" />

Well I apologise.....as we take most anonymous posters to be either stupid, sh*t-stirrers, Windsor fans, or all three, they tend to get an adverse reaction. Your post wasn't exactly clear.

 

I've never understood why, if people can manage to type a post, they can't manage to type their name.

There was an article by Gary Chappel suggesting that the Ryman rules on minimum tenure might be relaxed. It also suggested that a return to WP may be more likely with Martyn not officially part of Thames Valley Sports. Not sure what's happened with that though - has that gone through yet or not?!

 

Whilst moving back in the short term might attract a few supporters back it would take the pressure off and everyone would think it's all resolved. I don't think we should go back unless it's permanent but I know others would have a different view to that.

There would have to be strict criteria for us to move back there. One would be we either get long term control of the site, or that we move back there with full use of the facilities until the council rehome us with a permanent home elsewhere in the borough.

 

Wouldn't mind going back there if we were being sorted out with a new ground or we reclaimed ownership of the entire site, otherwise it's a bit pointless.

 

Glad I've not bought the Observer for a while as it seems to be more and more content from here and less from Gary himself. Shame really as he can't even credit the writers on here, and attributes it incorrectly to the Official Site.

Bloody Hell Ian, something else I'm in agreement with you on, I must be turning into a Slough fan LOL.

Anonymous, I can be pedantic as well, how much do we charge for the use of the ground for Capital League games and the siting of your office, physio room and supporters hut [nearly called it a shed but Chris S doesn't like that!], none of which were in the agreement? The answer is nothing, nil, free of charge as, believe it or not, some of us are actually trying to work together for the best interests of both clubs and not to put ticks in boxes to say who's done what.
