Come on,this is past a joke now.I thought registration would bring in HONEST voters.Seems I was wrong.This is making a mockery of this poll.Maybe his name should be taken out of the voting set-up altogether for yesterday & all those votes he had made null & void.I know its a democracy but this is taking things too far.Lets face it he wasnt on for that long was he, and those who are actually voting for him are not doing this well meant poll justice or giving credit to those other players who at least put in a full 90 minutes.

I know its only SUPPOSED to be a fun poll but 5 votes for Standen in my eyes completely takes any fun out of it.But then again if he had got even 1 vote is laughable still I suppose.But 5?

His votes are an insult to those others out there that DID & CAN control themselves & dont let the club down like he did yesterday.

It seems to be a symptom of fans becoming disillusioned with the club. Three seasons ago when West Ham were relegated from the Premiership the on-line supporters poll generally contained a very high number of votes for the substitutes who never made it onto the pitch. So whilst I agree that it does remove a lot of the meaning from the results it does provide an accurate reflection of the feeling of many fans. Still good to see that Lawrence Yiga is getting a good share of the serious votes. Clearly a new face who is beginning to impress and let's hope he can go on to further improve as he settles into the team.
