What's that all about?

 

How did he do that? well it went like this:

 

"Hello Dave four 50/50 tickets please"

 

"Sure Gazza there you go, with the torch, that's £6:00 thanks"

 

"Torch???"

 

"Yeah"

 

"why?"

 

"Because you have already given me a fiver & your not getting any change"

 

"Oh right, ok, err thanks, here's the other £1:00"

Gullible, but he already had my fiver in his hand!

 

The missus just gave me one of those looks she has given me for the last 21 years then shook her head & walked off mumbling something about divorce.

 

Next home game I have a feeling im going to end up with an Enfield Town windscreen scraper as he was torn between that & the torch.

Well now you've got to put a positive slant on this situation !

Imagine a dark winters eve when the Town av just gon top of the league an your cars parked on the Downs.

It's freezin, an icy, you'll need the Torch to find your car, an the Scraper to clear the winscreen.

I think Daves a forward thinking entrepeneur, with your welfare at heart.

 

Hmmmmm Wonder if I could pull that amount of wool over the PBTFC supporters ?

Oh he is that alright, the ETFC gloves are already in, you wait & see, the black & red ones will be in soon & I just know that the windscreen scraper will soon be in red & black as well for those winter nights at away games, come December I will be wearing an away hat & scarf as well, but my main concern is how to explain to the missus, when the day comes, why I have a replica mini model of the new club shop!!!

Exactly Gazza, thats what PBTFC need a philanthropist like yourself who has so much money he doesn't know what to do with it, but plough it back into the club.

How lucky the folks in Enfield are with a man like yourself at the Helm.

Money no object, ( you dont want to emigrate to Potters Bar do you ? )

someone handed me a fiver that same game and i wondered if i could manage to sell ten tickets to the guy, so i told him i'd run out of change, as i put the fiver in the bag i dropped two £2 coins. smiled sweetly and walked away. fast.

Considering the Ice on the cars this morning, you were very foolish not to invest in one on Saturday, I did warn you!!!!.
Next time you'll have to get one plus a Town Christmas fridge magnet as well.

and don't forget the Enfield Town thongs which will be available for Christmas........

well that made my ears prick up! everybodys always having babies; do we do baby grows too? baby pink and baby blue ones with the crest in the middle.... might be pushing it for town nappies.. but then you got hats, mittens, booties......
