Margate vs. Dartford

Started well, looked up for it but then went on the back foot again, started defending deeply hence the loss of momentum. Terrific goal by Dartford. Standen stupidly gets himself sent off for retaliation not long after getting a yellow for a previous offence. Second half the 10 men pushed forward and had many chances to bring the game level. Luck just wasnt on our side today in the second half.Amaoko squandered some clear cut chances but he again had a magnificent game up front without getting the luck he deserved. Was just one of those days for him. New boy Yiga impressed me a lot after coming on. Did a lot of work and has some ability but most of all he wanted to win the game.A good sign.Put himself around a lot and he too was unlucky on occasions not to find the net.Spirited performance in the second half and won that half on points easily. Alas no goal but plenty of credit to them for second half display. Dartford one real good chance in second half but that was about it. First half again bad but second half a big improvement.Sorry but Standen has no talent & certainly no brains and as acting captain should know better.I wont say that WITH him in the second half we would have won as we were much better without him. As I have mentioned previously he is a liability & it showed today.

My man-of-the-match goes to Yiga for his efforts but Amoako despite missing easyish chances was proberbly the only one to get out of the blocks quickly. Bill again good game,Charlie also good game and nearly scored near the end with a header that went wide after he had come up for a corner.

Corbett on the bench,

WE still need to get going earlier, push UP instead of backpeddling and give oppositions some sustained pressure.

Attendance 549.

How did you get we heard that it was all kicking off with the dons fans

Well it was the other end to us real Rams fans but the ones that only go to cause trouble where up the top end with the wombles . We just saw it kicking of an people being moved away .Their are rumours that someone got "stabbed" but i highly doubt that this is true . 1-1 was a fair reflection really both teams had their chances but neither took them.

Another defeat but I thought second half showed promise. Lawrence Yiga and Adolf Amoako starting to link up well and Ian Hilaire also started to join in just before he took a knock and came off. Looked dangerous from several corners in the seconf half - definately think Keister should take more in the future. My photo of the day was this spectacular attempt from Adolf from a Keister corner on about 64 minutes.

Well done Rams.I had thought you would get beat today but you proved me wrong.Good result.More dosh now in a replay that will help pay for those new lights you desperately need.

Cheers FF for updating me.Could have transferred those updates & ours to forum but no-one contacted me for them. No matter.

Absolout terrible perfrmance today. I thought coming home ment the bad years were over but now the cups are over and relegation looms. Again we played rubbish and the only good things were Lawarence's efforts and Amoako, oh and also the great fact that Standen is now suspended!!!!!!! He is waste of a player and we played better without him. Don't come back Standen. Captain, huh!

Commiserations, chaps.

Enjoyed the performance, enjoyed the banter (was it you Cookie we were talking to at half-time?). Mitten was a bit of a clown in goal, but fair play to the man, he applauded us as we applauded him. Nice to spend a bit of time with other Kent clubs, and again thanks for the hospitality. All the best for the rest of the season.

Looked much better with three up front and only ten men-I could'nt work out the formation in the second half but it just goes to show a change of formation in necessary. Only positive-Lawrence Yiga again-very promising. We deserve better-spent about forty quid at Hatrsdown in the last week just to come away feeling crap.

Maybe it WAS I you were talking to.Nice talking to you.I was pointing out to you just what we have to put up with every week.Improved after that a bit though I thought without getting the breaks.

Mitten..a clown? Cant agree with you there. He is probably the one of the best keepers in the league in not the best. What did he do to make you think he was a clown then? Lets face it he gets plenty of practice.Maybe you were a shade fortunate in the end but credit where credits due you came and did the job and good luck next round. We WILL get better though when that occurs is anyones business. At least we TRIED second half.We have to believe and be more positive.Still too many wayward passes due to players lack of reading balls and understanding of each other.Crowd down on normal but thats to be expected with the performances of late.Again nice talking to you and again best of luck in the next round.
