Great result and enjoyable afternoon.

Plenty of noise from the Yellow Army and the flags looked great.

Pitched looked a little heavy and I was disappointed when we went 1-0 down, but you never felt we were be outplayed.

Lee's equaliser was a classic. I thought he was going to just wack it low and hard but he chipped the keeperto put it high into the opposite corner - worth watching on Conf TV.

We had plenty of half chances including Mints with a low header. All the lads played well today and there was a lot of graft going on. Dominic put in some class one on one tackles and I'm a bit worried about him being carried off.

Amongst all the noise and commotion from the Yellow Army towards the end of the game we were put under quite a bit of pressure - particularly from their number 16 Meechan who was FGR's MOM - he started to beat a tired Duffers and the balls started going across the area - everyone dug deep including a superb save from Danny.

After an incredible 5 minutes extra time Canvey earnt a very valuable 3 points.

Again - well done to the YA for creating a great atmosphere.

Superb performance and Lee's goal was just sublime. I would say we dominated until we went in front but then sat back and allowed them back in it. Danny's save was magnificent. Not sure how he managed to turn that effort over the bar but it was a bit scary at the end and I had to admit I was glad to hear the final whistle.

Tait's cross for Mint's goal was quality and in fairness their keeper made some good saves during the first hour.

Tait was excellent but very difficult to pick a man of the match. McGhee was a colussus at the back and thought Mints had his best game of the season, might have got a hattrick today.

Brilliant day out, from the one pub in Nailsworth to the sing song and banter on the coach home. There were quite a few pissed up people and I hope they are continuing the festivities in the Oyster Fleet tonight!!!

Great stuff on and off the pitch.

Well done to the team but also well done to the Yellow Army. Great support and stood together as one today even when things wern't going so well.

Nice one chaps!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I could not go today, but I have heard the yellow army are getting a bit of a rep for being top supporters.

Well done one and all, players and fans.

Some people would rather play us away, bring on the lambs.
