A Christmas Tip

A tip for those who have kids and want to make present giving even more fun.For the last 5 years instead of putting labels on their presents i have raffle tickets.When the kids gather in the living room i give them the other ticket alloted to their present.Then i just pick up a present and call out the number.The best thing is you can have the presents around the tree and they have know idea which is theirs.My kids love this and always ask for me to do it.

That sounds like a fun idea. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It would also draw out the gift opening. Kids seem to want to rip everything open in 5 minutes.

 

Every Easter, my grandparents used to give each grandkid a piece of paper with a clue on it, which lead to the next clue, and so on. As we got older, the amount of clues we were given to follow increased. The last clue would lead us to our Easter baskets. The same idea could be used for kids to find the 'big' gift each Christmas.

You can also include a can of coke,tube of sweets etc.Every year i seem to win the turkey.
