I was really proud of our squad on tues. They played a truely professional game especially as we were told d&r played a reserve team! I thought Taity played a superb game, he is a talented dedicated footballer who plays at 100% for what ever club he plays for. I feel that Boylan and Tait are really becoming a good partnership, as they seem to have a good relationship and understanding on the pitch. This is just what we need, to produce the goals that win games. Ofcourse our defence is vital in preventing goals I think at the moment we aint doing too bad, but I do think that when we are ahead we get complacent and rest back on our laurels. Lets see our best players on Saturday get us a good result!

I think that we miss Ollie Berquez's goals from midfield, and I reckon Tait could step up to replace him. Wouldn't drop Ibe, he holds the ball up so well and can score goals. With his style of play he would naturally bring Tait into attacking moves.

Agree with Great Eckscape, although if it came down to Tait or Ibe, it would be tough, but I'd like to see Tait given a run. Ibe's done well, but Tait has the potentila nad not had any opportunity to fulfil it yet.

must agree 100% with great escape,when ollie ist arrived he was a centre forward and he became an attacking midfielder and scored loads of goals,so i agree tait has shown the same qualities and scored so keep ibe and play tait behind front 2

Don't agree Tait is a striker and should play in the position he is good at.

Some players are happy playing out of position and have previous experience in other roles.

 

Some times it works for you and other times it makes them stand out like a sore thumb.

 

If he's comfortable in the role then go for it. However, if he is not or it isn't working then you need to be tactically aware to swap it all around again.
