I will try my best not to go off on one at the ref here, but oh dear he had yellow specks on today!

More to the point we didnt really play that well and i think we missed our injured players for the first time this year. We looked vopid of anything, But we will bounce back and I enjoyed singing once more for 90 minutes - well done the drummer and Come on you reds, you still have many of us full support. We will struggle its inevitable its a hard league. The latest version of men in black wasnt required though. Their penalty? what? maybe i was unsighted the other end of the pitch but??

Come on you reds, Full support

Congratulations to Leigh RMI who battled very well and grabbed the points. Agree with your comments about the ref but in my opinion would not have changed the result if his decisions had been different.

After the heroics of the past five matches we were due an off day, I thought our performance was flat today, not as much fire in our bellies and passion as of late but what makes supporting the Fleet so good is we all know we will bounce back, so watch out Margate!.

The support today was excellent, just what Andy and the boys want so lets produce more of the same next week.

Onwards and Upwards the Fleet.

Agree with whats written. Thought we were rubbish for the first 70 minutes. We had no real penetration going forward. We played longish balls up to Che and Boothy and the big donkey no.5 Marden just ate them up. Wasnt until WIlko and Akpo came on that things started to change. Was quite apparant how much we missed the Beasts presence up front.

Although i dont like to criticise players individually, Lew Watts is costing us goals at home. He plays like a libero center back and i admit he's good on the ball and makes one wonder tackle a game, yet he's often bundled off the ball and more importantly caught out of position. He cost us the both the first and second goal yesterday. I also think he has suspect stamina levels as does Jimmy Strouts who during the last 5 minutes yesterday had nothing left in the tank. Positives on yesterday was Jacko who i thought had his best game for ages and obviously the return of Wilko (get him back in defence Andy).

I thought the referee was very poor yesterday, looked like he didnt know what to do next. All in all a poor performance by the lads, but hey we win them all.I think we are starting to miss Aaron and Francis at the back,Lew watts had a poor game but im sure play better in other games, good to see Craig back in action made big difference when he came on.I still think we are capable of a top ten finish, and the support was superb even though we were 2-0 down,if we can keep that up every game the lads WILL do the buisness.

Onwards and upwards Margate look out.

CMOOOOOOOONNNNNN YOU REEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDSSSSSSS

Okay, so we were by no means at our best against Leigh, and only really improved when the excellent Wilko came on - great to see him back.

However, we must remember that it is our first season in the Conference, and with such a crippling injury list, we have to accept that we will lose the odd game in disappointing fashion.

10th in the league is pretty respectable with the current situation - just think what we could achieve with players like the Fridge back in the side!

I think we find it hard to raise ourselves against - with all due respect - the less 'interesting' sides: Telford, Leigh, Forest Green.

As a result, the fans are more muted than usual too - especially without any opposition fans to taunt, and it usually takes a terrible refereeing decision or a good old scrap to get our voices going and the fire back in the players' bellies.

I have no doubt we'll all be up for next week!

I thought that considering the poor quality of the game - the injuries finally caught up with us (RMI are just poor full stop) - the noise level in the last 20 minutes was remarkable. Just hope that occaisional visitors don't judge the team on Saturdays' performance. Next week will be completly different.
