Firework Night

[Margate Football Club]

Margate Football Club would like to thank everyone involved in organizing the firework night. It was a tight schedule from closing after the game to opening again for the evening but as a result of our fantastic group of helpers, the event ran without a glitch.

 

The penalty shoot was extremely good fun, with children as young as 3 participating. The overall winner of the competition was 9 year old Christopher Quine.

 

The display itself was spectacular and thoroughly enjoyed by all in the ground.

 

Overall the night was a huge success and we will be looking to repeat this event on an annual basis.

About a 1000 I thin was said?

I was told by someone that went that at a guess it was more like 500-600 but who cares.Its still good revenue for the club.

MF ..... don't know the official attendance at the fireworks but I would have thought close to 1000.

 

Not sure Tony was just repeating what Wellsie said on earlier thread above but as you say still good revenue for the club. See you tonight mate
