news reaches palomino mansions this week, that Claire and her lover have got to get engaged as she is expecting a newborn.

 

congratulations to both: a new friend for all the other little city babies.

There was reference to the happy couple in the match-day programme on Saturday, Palomino. The chap who used to drive the red tractor said that he had received a text from Claire last Sunday, quote "I'm engaged! La La laaaa!"

 

The text is in Claire's style, but she might have meant that she was otherwise engaged on the telephone and unable to take calls. Unlikely, but a possibility. No reference to forthcoming offspring, however. Phoebe will be pleased.

 

Moving on, the Bar Manager and her husband have been blessed with a son, Harry James, weighing in at a sylph-like 5lb 8oz.
