Looks like a new reorganisation of the leagues could have the Ryman with two regional north and south division 1s next season. Now where have we seen that before?

 

Southern League with a Midland and a Southern League.

 

Looks like mass changes again.

 

No doubt the FA will keep everyone up to speed and teams will know well in advance as to where they will be playing next season. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

So promotion or not we end up back in the poxy Isthmian league, lets hope not.

Let's not get too miserable as we get promoted each year they were going to rearrange the leagues around us we knew that. The league regions and structure were higgly-de-piggle-de so it had to be done in steps and we knew that too. Southern, Northern and Isthmian were always going to have a dog fight over who covered what parts of the country so no change there either. Once things have settled down we will end up where we end up. The Southern is very enjoyable but the Isthmian wasn't too bad in the past. Chill!

why aren't there 2 leagues in each region, norf; midlunds; and sarf?

If we achieve promotion as long as we end up in step 3 I'll be happy. Imagine a reorganisation where we still have three promoitons to win to get to conference level. Re the Isthmian League. I'd rather be in their p[remier division than the southern Legue premier. Have you seen the amount of travle that Cheshunt have to endure!?

Yeah almost like a proper league aint it!!!!

The Isthmian = such delights as Dulwich, Carshalton, Bromley, Leyton, Croydon to name just a few places I would rather never see again.

The Southern league = Cirencester where my sister lives!....oh & Merthyr wonderful, wonderful Merthyr!

we have no say,in what league we are placed in; so we just have to end up as high up the league as possible and hope to progress.

 

SL or IL does not make that much difference; if we acheive promotion then this will bring bigger gates and hopefully more sponsorship etc

Those of us who can remember the old EFC remember playing in the Isthmian.
