Got back from a long weekend away last nite and have just played catch up reading all the threads. Was it really that bad?? Didnt find out the result until this morning! I always new we were not going to be brilliant this season but I didnt think we were going to be this bad.

I think that the sooner a reserve team is set up the better. Even just playing friendlies round East Kent.

The club should be bringing through local talent,if they did that i think crowds could rise.

Hatch Kedwell Hook etc are playing at a higher level than the gate, so it makes sense to look at local players.

Over 500,000 people live east of the medway towns but some people seem to think none of them are good enough to play in the rymans league!

I think the team needs to be sorted out. Players playing in their righ positions and some tactics to be played. I wish we would lear from games, but it seems we dont. We seem to get worse. Why some of the players are really good if we played like a team and had oem tactics that work in this league and af=gainst each individual team

I aree Alan. It as been said before,but people still do not seem to get it,this is a new club Starting last july,luckily 5 of the old team commited themselves to us other wise it would all have been all new. The Gaaaate are but 3 months into the new existance and trying desperately hard to steady a situation which for the last 3 or so years as been in freefall.The Gates have been fantastic,though performances have been mixed,sometimes not matching the enthusiasm of the crowd.I am afraid miricles only happen either in story books or in the eyes of believer,usualy over a long period. Already people are trying to rip it to pieces. we have even had calls,granted only a few for the head of our manager. It is easy on a forum when you are sitting at a key board dreaming up essays to go a bit to far,a little self restraint is needed at times. As you say Alan, we no doubt have a few more months to put up with changes yet.Sure as day follows night things will work out. Will you be at the game tonight Alan if so see you there.

As i have said before,Knock, Knock, Knock, until the door is opened.Then be prepared to prove it.Not only have you to know you can do it you ,you have to do it, But most importantly prove how much you WANT to do it.

Certainly will be blueblood but will miss next two as away! Will see you there. I didnt put all that work in the club helping painting etc too see it fail! And I know how many long hours U did too, much more than my effort!

I suppose one day we will get it right.I'm sure we will, but remarking on saturdays performance is valid no matter how good or bad it was. Most of us I think also respect CK and wouldnt want him out but sometimes he makes mistakes in formations and just because he is an experienced non-league manager dosent mean he gets it right all the time. When we do get it right everyone will then turn round and say "there we said it would all come right in the end". No one doubts that but commenting on performances match-by-match surely is acceptable on a football forum. Where the hell is the harm in that.WE all have different opinions and therefore we speak them. Why on earth are people getting at those who are only giving their version of events, again, on a match-to-match basis. Maybe tonight we will be praising the team who knows. Thats the way we talk football. Ups & downs all the time. Tomorrow may be an "up" day but Saturday was a surefire downer & we should be in our rights to vent our frustration as & when it happens in the same way that we give out the praise when its deserved.

i agree cookie we are all entitled to put on this forum our views, what ever they may be.

we must respect the fact that this is a open forum for debate! and if people think there should be nothing bad said then this is not a open forum at all insted a fan club site where we say how great we are(even when we are sh1t).

As someone who goes to games to watch a decent match but also living on a tight budget i.e a fixed income,I having to pay £8 just to feel letdown after the game makes me wonder if i am spending my money wisely.As some have said their is nothing wrong with constructive criticism and long may it continue.
