It was good to see that Liam Hatch got a run-out at Old Trafford the other week, albeit just for the last 15 minutes or so.

 

Not a good result for Barnet on the pitch, but financially a success no doubt.

 

But what an experience for Liam, playing at 'The Theatre of Dreams' in front of 48,000.

I went to Barnet V Southend yesterday, Beast played 70 odd minutes and did OK - he was hampered by his awful strike partner (Jason Norville) who contrived to miss a 4 yard volley from a Hatch cross.

 

The crowd clearly like him there and he has improved since last time I saw him against us.

 

A draw would have been a fair enough result by Barnet lacked a cutting edge to go in tandem with Liam's battering ram style as Grazioli was only fit enough for 10 minutes or so at the end.
