Who's Going To Burnham Tomorrow?

I'm with Matt here. I don't see the problem. Burnham kick's off at 1pm and we kick off at both. I'm going to see both as I can. If they both kicked off at 3pm there would be no choice - Slough.

Everyone must know from last year there is something special about the Buzz of the FA Cup and as a local, i'll go and watch Burnham.

We as Slough asked local people to follow us last year, and Burnham are doing that this year. Double standards maybe?

I don't see what the problem is. People should take an interest in their local community and support their local teams. As supporters of non league football we should stick together, as long as it doesn't cause a conflict of interests or clash with our own loyalties. Good luck to Burnham, Chasetown, Tiverton and all the other "little" clubs who have a chance to progress today. Obviously we will be at Stag Meadow afterwards.

Is it now ok as it is the first round proper or will Dominic have to throw the toys in his pram at all that go to Burnham this afternoon too?

I couldn't care less where you go Clive, although i'm sure you will be at Stag Meadow come 3pm supporting the Rebels as you do every week.

Good luck to Burnham.

Looks like everyone is jumping on the Burnham band wagon!

Some of us were there for the qualifying rounds and got slated for not being loyal to Slough!!!!

I think you'll find if the matches both kicked off at 3pm, the Slough fans would be at the Slough match, and then yes, I think we'd have an issue with the Slough support who went to another match rather than support their own teas,

The people I've spoken to will be leaving Burnham a few minutes early to get to the Slough match to miss the traffic.

That said, it's not direct competition. As long as they are there at the Slough match, even if a bit late, that's good for me.

It doesn't clash if you strategically park your car right outside the ground several hours before kick off thus ensuring a fast get away!

I don't see why people are getting so defensive about it, we might miss a few minutes of our game that's all. No different really to getting there late because of work, other commitments or other things you choose to do on a Saturday.

You couldn't make it to Redbridge vs Slough when Burnham were playing Canvey, so you went along to watch Burnham. Nothing wrong with that... Today, some people are going (or rather have gone) to both the Burnham and the Slough games because they can fit both in. Also perfectly fine. It's not a question of jumping on any bandwagon.
