Who's Going To Burnham Tomorrow?

Should still be tickets left - I don't think either club have 'officially' sold their allocations yet (rumour is that a lot of Shots fans have actually bought tickets for the home enclosure in anticipation of the Aldershot allocation selling out). I would expect a crowd of about 1,500.

Would like to know if Wycombe get drawn against Chelsea or Man utd how many of you would go to support them as they are your local club bet none of you would.

So why all the fuss about Burnham who cares about who they are playing I have no interest what so ever in who other clubs are playing I could not go to cheer on or support any other team then the REBELS full stop.

So would you have rather Slough had turned out 400 against Walsall, Steve? Where do you think we got the other 8-900 from? It was from local people taking an interest in a one-off game.

I'll be there tomorrow at Burnham wishing them well and then coming to Stag Meadow afterwards. I've nothing at all against Burnham and think they're a very friendly club.

Don't see much wrong with going to watch Burnham personally - nobody said they were suddenly going to switch allegiances and follow them. Add that to the fact that you can actually watch both games tomorrow if you choose to (well, apart from the first 5-10 minutes of Slough-Hendon maybe).

I would however question the loyalty of those who chose to watch Burnham instead of a Slough home game (or nearby away game), if both games were 3pm kick-offs for example. In this case, I don't particularly see what the fuss is about!

(By the way I'm not going to the Burnham game!)

Well they were not all Burnham regulars.

Football supporters from the Slough area? - yes. Supporters of non-league football? - Some but not all.

I am with Steve, personally I could not give a [****!!****] what Burnham are up to. If they win well done to them - but I enjoy all "giant killing".

But having said all that if I had got a ticket I might have popped along as an observer!

I wasn't suggesting they were all Burnham fans, Martin! As you said they were supporters of lots of other clubs which is great. As the kick off times ar different, I think it's good to be able to go to both. I'm quite looking forward to it!
