PBTFC Saturday - Our Waltham Abbey of this league?

Given the number of times you have lost at home when I have come to see you play, maybe I should have cause for optimism?

Bradley hasn't been in the starting line-up of late but could be a useful substitute to bring on later in the game. Both Brad & Richie are bound to be looking forward to playing against their old club. I would guess Rudi & Kieron are too!

Richard Howard will certainly be up for it

That will make pleasant change. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

In an earlier thread, Jim Cunneen mentioned that Richard Howard scored one goal every two games for ETFC (including friendlies). How does this compare with the other forwards to have played for ETFC this season? Jim?

His record was 3 in 7 appearences

or 3 in 582 mins. (1 /194)

I really dont think it matters how they go in frankly.

Others

Green 1/639 1 in 12apps

Hall R 1/ 322 5 in 18

Hammatt 1/223 6 in 17

Nyman 1 /257 2 in 8

Ofori 1 / 86 2 in 9

Paul 1 / 96 3 in 4

Smith 0 in 750

I have put down both methods of looking at it. Goals per appearences and goals per minutes - bearing in mind some of those appearences might be very short - especially nyman and ofori.

Thanks, Jim.

So Richie is third in terms of minutes per goal this season amongst the forwards. Doesn't seem to me that he wasn't "up for it", as Lovely Stuff's earlier comment alleges. Even if one goal did rebound in off of him, he still had to be in the right place at the right time for it to hit him.

Anyway, enough of that. Let's just hope for a good game tomorrow and that everyone on here is talking about the game for all the right reasons afterwards.

Yes we have not been as good as we would wish at home but the season is yet young!

Bradley is only a sub for you? I thought he left us because he was always on the bench and wanted to be playing regular, but I digress. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/argue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Always nice to see the Poole family. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Mr og - 3 in 1830 mins this season or 1/613

As a matter of interest there have been 14 ogs in 224 games.

14 /20400 = 1 / 1457mins for those of you who cant be bothered to work it out.

I watched your boys at Wodson Park on Tuesday night so I have cause for optimism too!

I predict a 2-0 win for Towners. I hope you'll bring a few more fans down to Goldsdown Road than the poor PBT turnout in Ware.
