time for the reserves to start getting some recognition for the peformances there putting in week in week out may not be a great standard but at the moment there keeping the windsor name respectable i think. maybe a few things on match day programmes or in the local press.

gary and eugene must be doing something right as they all ready have two reserves in the first team.

i think the reserves are leading by example and we need to support them more.

The same said thing was mentioned after the Spital V Ressie and Slough V ressie game but no nothing in the local paper, not much encouragement from the club to these lads, some travel a fair distance without even expences for fares / petrol so a report on each game from the management team wouldnt go amiss after all they keep winning even after loosing two of their better players to the 1st XI. how about a profile of the resserves and an update on their league position and stats on the web it doest cost anything to print.

Can't talk about the website as not my domain, but if you have bought the programme regularly this season, you'll see we do regularly cover the reserves. Playing in the capital league they do not play too many games, so it was agreed with Gary and Eugene that we would a full page interview every two months keeping everyone up to date with what's going on with the reserves, promising new players etc. We haven't had had many home games this season, everything seems to be away, yet we have had twice done full page interviews with the reserve team management, something that has never been done before. If you would have read the last programme you would have seen a full page interview with Will Dunlop, the first graduate from the reserves into the first team, the last two programmes have also carried features on the community programme. To say the reserves aren;t getting the recognition in the programme beggars belief! Feel free to bring the local press and website into it, but not the programme!

Beg to differ, Will is not the first to be promoted, you have other local lads who have made the first team Ian Gadner, Adam Goldie, Dominic White Terry Conner. other than Ian who is still in the ressies the rest have all gone onto better things. remember Chuck brought a number of lads along who also made the 1st XI. Not everybody buys the programme but local papers covrer a bigger area and would promote the club.
