Greg Oates who sustained a broken arm during the Braintree match has undergone an operation and had 2 pins placed in his ulna, it is expected that he will be out of action for up to two months, we wish Greg a speedy recovery.

Chris Kiinear has released Daniel Sacha from the Margate squad.

Hasim Deen has been called up by The Gambia FA for under 23’s International Duty. Hasim will be involved in the forthcoming Amilcar Cabral Zone II tournament, which commences on 18 November through to 27 November, this covers the period during which Hasim is suspended after receiving a red card last Saturday.

Chris Kinnear continues to do everything possible to strengthen the squad and is very close to adding two well known names to join us at Hartsdown Park.

Agree Coffin Ender, guy never stopped running when I saw him and seemed to cause defences problems and, of course there were his free kicks. Good luck to him in the future. Sorry to hear about Gregs problems too, very nasty

Agree with you RichG, Was special when he came on at Bromly,i thought we had found a real gem, unfortunatly subsequent games apperances did not live up to expectations. As KP said at the meeting for new faces to come in others will have to go. Deeply sorry to hear the news confirming what CK said in the thanet times, concerning Greg Oates.Get well soonGreg. In the next breath, well done Hasim Deen, To be called up to represent your Home country is fantastic. while you are there see if you can find another one or two as good.Well done. Its a long route to thefootballing heaven, but thats where CK,KP and MAAAAAAAAAARGATE are heading. Here we come the league.

Two well-known names... who is it? Saunders? Porter? Or does he mean well-known nationally? Keane won't be staying at ManU much longer. And Gascoigne has already been at Kettering over a week, so he must be getting ready to move on.

Shame about Sacha, because those two free kicks were superb. I wonder if there was something behind the scenes there?
