This made me laugh. Well... shake my head in disbelief anyway...

My bird works as a Nursery nurse and she comes back daily with brand new rules that they have to follow in regards of looking after the Babies/Toddlers.

Here are some of my favourites:

1. If a small girls hair band comes out, a member of staff is not allowed to put it back in without the childs permission because it's now considered Child abuse.

2. When a child is asleep in a cot or bed, the staff aren't allowed to lean over the child because the child may not want them to.

3. While singing the nursery rhyme "Twinkle, Twinkle, little star" They are not allowed to make a star with their two thumbs and two index fingers because (apparently) it's the sign language for ladies genitalia.

4. If a child is naughty at work, the staff aren't allowed to tell the child that they are being naughty or silly because it will cause damage to the childs self esteem and make out that the child is stupid. Instead they have to be told "(Childs name) could you please stop that because you are making (staff members name) sad."
