Coming from A13

Take the turn off for Pitsea.

At the roundabout take the first exit so that you pass Tesco’s on your left.

 

At the next roundabout take the third exit and go straight at the next roundabout (approx. 40 metres).

 

Follow the road until the next roundabout and take the second exit and then take the first left into Kenneth Road.

 

Follow the road to the end and turn right and then immediate left into car park.

Re-Bowers - check the traffic news before going via the A13 - there are roadworks on the A1306 which are seriously affecting the A13 at the M25 junction at times.

 

It might be better to go via the A127 and the A128 to the Orsett [****!!****] and then onto the A13.

 

As you go by Tesco and the other superstore, look out for people with binoculars, as this is a favourite haunt of waxwings, and they are do to arrive any time now.

 

For anyone interested, if you carry on parallel to the new A13, you will go past the Gun Inn, to the rear of which was the old Bowers ground, now underneath the new A13.

The rate that this rain is coming down, the only you will be doing at Bowers on Saturday is playing poo sticks in the goalmouth!

Just checked the weather forcast, Will be sunny Friday wind speed 15 and sunny Saturday with some cloud wind speed 7.
