took me 20 minutes to find the place AFTER I hit the town centre one way system and ended up in colchester on the way home.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

You don't need to go to Braintree to get to Braintree - just follow the signs for Freeport, which in turn points you around Braintree and onto the Colchester / Sudbury / Halstead road.

 

When you see the large MacDonalds sign, which is the Freeport roundabout, you turn left onto the Cressing Road, and look for the floodlights on the left, just to the rear of the new housing development, turn left into Clockhouse Lane, and then left again into the large puddle which passes for a car park.

 

Coming away, you reverse the process. If you had an Iron Burger in the interim, then you have only yourself to blame if you get lost.
