Max - good to meet you again. Unfortunately barmaid Denise is no longer on the payroll, but does pop along to watch occasionally.

 

Unc - yes the pitch is good - Andy G knows his stuff.

 

As for the car park - you need a 4x4 just to get about. We've tried re-surfacing but it's used as a right of way by others who churn it all up again. Right pain in the 'arris.

 

Let's hope that one day it'll all be re-developed.

Max have taken your comments on board ,considering the pitch had quite a bit of water on it at 8am yesterday morning i thought the priority was getting the game on which i done.
Under normal circumstances the stand would have been cleared of leaves but as the pitch preperation was not compleated until 4.40pm there was not time (i do need to eat sometimes you know)but next time max i'll say sod the pitch and make sure all the leaves are swept up and disposed of and you can sit in a nice clean stand ,there won't be any football played coz the pitch will be unplayable but you can sit in a clean stand. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

Russell Williamson did not need a leaf machine - he slid into them so many times he should be given the max bonus for clearing them all up.

 

Pitch in excellent condition, easily the best so far this season, and compares favourably with Sawbridgeworth and Waltham Abbey.

 

Not too sure about the Iron Burgers - did anyone try the Borg Burgers?
