Making Slough Happy programme

I have also been informed that the series begins on Tuesday 15th November on BBC2 at 9pm. It continues in the same slot for 4 weeks.

Hi Paul,

 

I will be seeing an advance showing of the first programme next week, but at the moment do not know if I will be in it. I'm fairly sure at some point I will be in it, given I was asked to consent to them showing a bit of a recording that I had previously not given consent to. I'll let you know.

 

I imagine the big finale of Smile in the Square will be in the final programme, and hopefully they will show Horsham Rebel, his parents, Dave Programmes and others joining in.

My five seconds of madness

You will be pleased to know that your five seconds of madness appears in not one but two programmes, or so I was told by the producer earlier tonight. (start of episode 3 and in the middle of episode 4)

 

I've seen most of the first programme. There is a very subtle Slough Town reference if you see the copy of the observer being held by one of the experts when he is introduced.

 

Decent little programme. Mostly in good humour. You should enjoy it.

They were advertising it on star fm last night, and said something along the lines of its not often slough appers on national television and that it should be quite interesting. Very Random comment from me i know

Have been enjoying the programme and recorded it this evening.

On playback, exactly 5 minutes before the closing credits, there was a scene with two old boys on an allotment pouring liquid into blue water butts. If you look very carefully behind them you will see a very large rat run from right to left.

watched last weeks one from video last night, and recorded last nights one (i hope). found it hilarious that they couldnt get in touch with the council only to find they were no longer backed over their original idea!! in a way ill be glad when its over, but i do enjoy laughing at the fools who dared to try this.
