this season we have won from behind 3 times..

we have drawn when losing twice..

we are the top team in the league for winning and drawing games after going behind in the league..

we are also the bottom team in the league for losing games when ahead.. 3 times

and drawing games we led in 3 times..

well you cant say it aint entertaining!!

we are the highest placed part time team in the country i think..? or second highest...

and apart from the odd spike up to 8th or something, briefly this season and last we are pretty much at the highest we have ever been in the english football leagues..

if you can find something to moan about in that lot then you are looking too hard in my opinion .. with only two down this season we have a great chance to stay up again.. i would have liked a cup run but there you go ..

and we have only lost once in the last 7 or 8 games!

While on the subject of stats, was looking at the results on the programme centre pages and that’s the first time we have scored more than two in the league this season.

Secondly, up to now, the only game we have failed to score was the first one against Accrington and our only clean sheet, so far, was against Scarboro.

Now not many people know these! (Sorry, only taking the Michael!)

Still achieving then. Consolidation is going very well.

Who are the other part timers in our division?

Also, saw a league table in a paper the other day and the relegation line was above just one team. Was this a mistake or is only 1 team going down this year due to conf restructuring?

Tamworth, Southport and Altrincham.

I'm fairly sure it's two down this year - certainly not one. Reprieves due to financial irregularities and crap ground conditions etc. are a totally different kettle of fish.........

I think Burton are part-time too. It is definitely two down this season, next season there will be 24 teams in the Conf (two up from each of Conf North & South, wonder if Kettering will be one of them ?). Not sure what happens from season 06-07 onwards, guess it must be four down from the Conf and carry on with two up from North & South. I believe the Conf is pushing for 3 teams to come down from the bottom division of the Football League (whatever it's called this week) and are keen to set a good example.

i beleive that the conf will continue with the 3 down next season its all about getting the right amount of teams in the division in conjuction with the football league

No I'm sure they are full time or a mix - bit like Gravesend.

True part time teams are a bit thin on the ground in this league. If more teams are relegated from the league it will only make things harder for the likes of us, Tamworth etc. Then again it highlights how much we have achieved and continue to achieve by competing in this league and holding our own against clubs with far greater resources than ours.

going back a few posts on this topic, just read on confguide that from season 06-07 there will be four clubs relegated from the Conference to Conf North/South and of course four promoted. From each of Conf North/South three teams will go down to Isthmian, Northern and Southern Premier leagues (i.e. two promoted from each feeder league). Conference will expand to 24 clubs next season as planned. Info here (it's a bit confusing as most things are listed twice) http://www.confguide.com/newsArticle.do?id=2769
