I have been accused of writing an article in the gazette that I did not write. The article was written by one of the two regular sport writers who work for the paper.

 

I would like to point out that I am not employed by the Gazette and merely volunteer 200 words (for which I receive nothing) within which I express my personal views. I don't expect all of you to agree with those views but I like to think it raises some discussion points at the very least.

 

All I would ask is that before you attribute a particular quote to me that you have the courtesy of actually reading the Gazette first before having a go at me.

 

As I said earlier I don't get paid and I merely write the column for fun and out of the love for the club. I might upset some of you in the process but that is inevitable if you don't agree with my opinion. However, I don't need the criticism for writing something I didn't write and if it happens again I will just pack it in. I don't need the hassle.
