Just how long are we going to give the current players and Managenmeant team? Relegation from this league could see us in Southen league division 1 with huge sides like Marlow, Egham and North Leigh! I don't know about you but they don't have the same appeal as the Slough, Afc Dons and Maidenheads of this world.

 

It's getting to the stage where i'm serousily on the brink of not bothering anymore as it's clear to see too many of the players already feel that way.

he's got a point woody, we can't stop going, we need to be there to give the team a lift when they need it and its clear that some of the players aren't happy with the situation! so we need to be there on tuesday night against maidenhead and show them our support

From what I saw yesterday the team needs a good shake up. Only 3 players were notable of having a good game. Some try hard but are not good enough for this level and some are just not bothered at all. Crowds will always fall and rise depending on results that's nothing new.

 

I will always watch Windsor no matter what but you can uderstand the frustration of peoples ometimes.

 

For now we will have to grin and bare it until the club make decision on how to progress from our situation.

I know you have only been supporting the team for two and half minutes Woody but face facts that is the level Windsor are used to. You have been playing above yourselves for the last three seasons and for that you should be grateful. Most football clubs and particularly those at non-league level have periodic good spells were they play above themselves before reverting to type. Slough had a handful of seasons in the Conference which was our high point we are now in our more realistic position of being an Isthmian Premier side.

do any of the players,management,committee and directors read the web,they could perhaps let the fans know what is happening,their feelings,the future,It appears the whole setup is short on guidance and confidence,would like to hear DC blow his top like Dennis /Scotty used to and gee some of these players out of their dreams, two or three are performing but others are there in kit only, what the sponsors,directors must feel throwing money away every week on poor performances. perhaps they should pay as you play,have an independant viewer give points on players performances and pay them on results only, not over onflated wages.

Whats the team for Wednesday against MUFC and when are the Ressies due to play again.

After all the club should be shouting about them with four out of four. Never any press coverage like Burnham FC and otheres.

I'd still say the order should be:

 

Slough

M********d

Windsor

Burnham

 

though it's a pretty close run thing between ourselves and M********d and ourselves then a gap between Windsor and Burnham but it would be nice in the future if all four clubs were in the same division at the same level, but ideally not the Southern League West

just league positions and cup runs for the season so far. you must admit Slough are not as good as last season neither are WEFC but Mr Mudge has got Burnham playing pretty neat football. Go watch them, they are a very young side with Ex Slogh And Windsor lads fighting for their places.

so martin you must agree with me then, if windsor have played above themselves for the last 3 seasons maybe that had something to do with Dennis, when are our supporters going to realise let alone the chairmans, we are a laughing stock at the moment cause were to nice as a board.

If we are punching above our weight we should go down kicking and screaming not just sitting back and hope things change!

To say the club is playing above themselves is unfair. We had a very bad time when Mr B*****y was in charge and dropped from Prem(now Conf Sth) to Div 3. We have taken our time and are now back where we belong. Lets not forget we got to the round before the quarters in the trophy and should have won the league (still can't believe our drop in form) in the last few seasons. One bad season in the last however many is not the marque of a bad team. Changes are needed but lets not forget we have changed things before and they have worked. We have a reasonable set up with a loyal, yet small, fan base and our own ground. It will get better and we may get relegated but keep the faith and believe. We've been higher and we've been lower, we've seen it all and you take the rough with the smooth.

Lets not forget we used to play and compete in the league with Woking, Wycombe, Yeovil and Stevenage Borough. Maidenhead were our poorer cousins and we could dispatch teams with ease. We lost class players like Yates Smith Hill and McCulloch but replaced them with Butler, Gilman, Woods, Bally, Jonah. We had gaps in between that were poor, lets take it that this is a gap and see what comes when the changes happen.

Woody, you need to understand this is what happens in football. Slough are not the side they once were, Maidenhead are above all of us and we may even have to play teams like Eton Wick in the league soon.

But the loyal fans will stay and continue to support the team, otherwise the clube will cease to exist and we will only have ourselves to blame. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />
