I went to my first away game yesterday and what a day. I've read the posts about previous away games and suspected that the Eastside Disco would be good but not as good as that. My son (12 today) and daughter 14, came and were a little apprehensive about going into the ground wearing away colors but no probs. It was just like being in Hornchurch. I thought Cogenhoe tried to play attacking football (forgetting the attacks with the elbow) which made it a realy good win if not a magnificient performance. Well done to all, the team, the management and of course the supporters both Eastside and Riverside (many of whom were there , if not quite as vocal as the Eastside)

Well done Sheps, you'll notice the camaraderie in the awaydays, always has been like that even years ago and always will be.

The level of expectation was there on the Tony Roche as everyone was there early and raring to go.

Can't wait for the next one eh?

cogenhoe finished the game playing 3-3-4 so well done to 'em for that and it made for a good last 10 minutes which was end to end stuff...

 

the penalty miss changed the game I think cos if we're two up we win comfortably but the miss put a spring in their step when we had them under enormous pressure...
