Totally agree Peter that Deen excelled in defensive midfield pre-season and that is where he offers most to the team.

Frankly he breaks the play up better than JK and stops the pressure on the defence

Either way, he wll be a big loss for the 3 games he is suspended.

I don't think suspensions start straight away in Ryman, which is a pity as tht way he would only miss one league game, the largely irrelevant 'railway cup' and trophy game where we should be good enough to win without him-but will we

[color:"blue"] I must apologise for a little plagiarism, the observation "I'd also say that since his return Keister has played in midfield and would be better reverting to his role as sweeper (where he's more cautious with his tackles)" should have been attributed to Geoff Pay - my apologies Geoff for making it look as if I had made that remark.

Andy g you may have seen it that Braintree were all over Margate and deserved to win by a hatful. I have to tell you that is not the opinion of Braintree fans I spoke to, who thought the match was even and the referee was rubbish. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Chris my dear fellow where in my post did i say that Braintree were all over Margate and deserved to win by a hatfull.
I suggest you read the report again starting with the headline MARGATE GO DOWN TO CYNICLE BRAINTREE,and then going on to say our manager intimidated the officials.
If that was you that wrote that report my friend then your suffering from tunnel vision.

Accept my appologies Chris ,i must have read the part about intimidating officials in a personal post.As far as the game goes i think we'll agree to disagree ,my original post was posted in the heat of the moment, still not happy about the cynicle Braintree headline .....but what the heck if that's your opinion your entitled to it.

I wish you the best for the rest of the season (apart for Feb 18th) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smilewinkgrin.gif" alt="" />

Enjoy your football.

All the best.

ANDY G.
