Surprise Surprise

The referee in todays game was shocking. Once again one of our players(Warren Ryan this time) was punched in the face by an opposing player and once again this only resulted in a booking. Something has to be done about this, i suggest a few of us write letters or indeed e-mails to the FA and/or the head of the ryman league. This is the second game running we have been blatently cheated by officals.

Agree the ref was shocking, however your players didn't help themselves with some of the tackling. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

And as for Warren Ryan well he should have had a straight red first half for a pi$$ poor tackle.

And your no 7 Keister could have gone for multiple fouls before and after his yellow card.

According to the radio Kent summary of the fisher game, the culprit from monday night was upto his tricks again.Punching an opponent, being allowed to stay on the pitch. I wonder, looking at the condition of and the agressive attitude of certain players,if the league should randomly test for steroids. Is JK know banned, if he got a yellow or as he got one more to go. Teabarmark,is ryans back ok.

I have just sent this email to Alan Turvey, The Head of the Ryman League.

"I am a fan of Margate Football Club and i am writing to you regarding the awful standard of the officials we have had in our past two games. In our match on monday night against Fisher Athletic our defender James Smith was stamped on and punched in the face at least twice in full view of at least 2 of the officials. The referee called the offending player over (it was Leroy Griffiths) and showed him a yellow card, it was an utter disgrace, how a player can get away with such things on the field of play is beyond me. Later in the same match Albert Brayley was also punched in the face with the referee this time doing absolutely nothing.

Yesterday's match saw us take on a good Braintree side, but once again the referee totally ruined the game with terrible decisions. Even the Braintree fans, who had been seeing the better side of the decisions all afternoon had to admit that the referee was incredibly bias. It was later in yesterday's match when I finally knew this had gone too far, when for the third time in two matches another of our players was punched in the face (Warren Ryan this time) and it was only 5 metres away from the referee's assistant who saw the incident clearly and surprise surprise the referee strided over only to book the player. I mean is it just me do the rules of the game state that if a player is guilty of violent conduct they should be shown the RED card and sent from the field of play."

Yes Graham ryan's back is fine now but he's got a bit of a cough, too much laughing on the coach I think. LOL!

Your reputation as a Young,Tall,Dark,Handsome Cassanova/sex god type seems to be spreading past the shore line of Thanet. Keep it up and your dad will stop you going. As for Ryan he needs a juicer, place a toffee apple some boveril and a small amount of water ,juice it then drink. If this helps then something realy is wrong. Glad to hear he is ok.pps. Good letter.
