The F A Vase - important news

I am very sorry to relate that Martin Winter of Burnham Ramblers broke his leg this afternoon in an F A Vase 1st Round tie at Tilbury and is presently undergoing an operation to correct same at Basildon Hospital... I am sure you will all wish him well and a full recovery in the fullness of time.

 

Just one other matter of correction - all the Media and F A sites say that Yaxley and Southend Manor drew 1-1 ( as at 19.10hrs ) but I am afraid that it was a shattering 8-1 defeat for Manor !!!!!
