Directors got voted in (well done Les)or back in ,

accounts accepted,

5 year plan outlined,

supporters guidelines voted in (no more banging on the back of the stand),

a very entertaining talk by Jim,

nothing surprising,

meeting ended.

What was nice to hear was Jim full of praise for his players! I'm not so sure he'd say it to their faces mind you, I dont think he is the mushy type!

There was a lot of secret stuff that we'd rather wasn't put on here. 5 year plan - Lots of hopes, dreams, ifs buts and maybes for the future.

Town fans voted unanimously to accept a Fans Code of Conduct and were very concerned that those who keep swearing get ejected from the ground so be warned. And no banging in the stand!

If you've got a problem with Jim's selections talk to him (nicely) AFTER the match and he has said he will discuss it with ANY (polite) Towner. I felt the quietness on the web was as much a testament on Jim's performance in silencing his critics. I'm not sure I'd want to be the Horse's Mouth at the moment though.

Why's that then?
Because he shared his thoughts & opinions? or because he may have hit a nerve & was right?

Going too far in his comment about a particular player and most Town fans I spoke to today agreed perhaps JC was right on this particular one.

Seriously, on what thread was that?

Ive only found his comments honest & constructive, maybe because I agree with most of his views but Ive not read anything untoward, he comes across as just another fan behind the goal (if he is) giving his views on the the team he supports.

. Nope, I have to disagree with you there. The comments on both this messageboard and in The Gazette have been way over the top. Presumably this weeks column with see complaints that Bryan only scored three.

It was in the Gazette anbd nothing to do with Bryan!
Disagree there. Having banged on for a few weeks in the Gazette asking why Bryan is an automatic starter, and seemingly immune from being substituted, Bryan starts the game on the bench on Tuesday. The result, a plea in the Gazette column for someone to ask JC at the AGM why it took him so long to do that. As I said in a different thread, none of our strikers are (or is it now were) prolific, but Bryan seemed to be the only on copping flak about it. Pourquoi?

Can I get a few things straight here. I have a mouth peace by doing my column in the paper. I therefore feel I must use that mouth peace to express the concerns of Town supporters. If you read my column on Thursday I stated that they were not necessarily questions I personally wanted answers to.

I have raise my personal concerns regarding Bryan because he wasn't playing well (Can anybody really say he was?) and I questioned his continued inclusion when the other players who, as you rightly say weren't scoring either, were getting swapped and dropped.

I wasn't having a go at Bryan but more his continued selection. I have said on here that i would love him to start scoring again and hopefully following his hat trick on Saturday this is a start of some good form. Maybe him being dropped on Tuesday was the kick up the bum he needed. As I also said in the paper I hoped he would react well to being dropped, it appeared he did.

Like Jim if anybody wishes to discuss by column from week to week just look for the boy with the broken arm I won't be far away.
