Chalfont St Peter 2-1 Slough Town Res

Not quite sure what sort of team Chalfont fielded, but our line up was:

 

Adrian Blake, Rav Briach, Liam Patrick, Adrian Brown, Steve ??, Danial Whatford, Chris Ferdinand, Paul Ellis, Elias Bakishan, Alvin Bubb, Billy ?? (Chalfont Player!!)

 

Sub: Troy Townsend (For Bubb, 46)

 

Went 1-0 down on stroke of half time as we failed to clear a corner and Danial Whatford equalised early in the second half.

 

Winner came on seventy minutes when a long through ball was sliced in an Adrian Blake attempted clearance leaving their striker to slot home into an empty net.

 

Danial Whatford played well on the left wing, as did Adrian Brown at the back. Alvin was doing well until he pulled his hamstring just before half time and had to be replaced by Townsend at half time.

 

Never really looked like scoring, although with Troy on the pitch it was like playing with ten men as he's not physically fit enough to play due to a long term groin injury. Elias Bakishan nearly put Slough in front connecting with a Paul Ellis free kick, but his effort went into the side netting.
