If you see this along the High Road tomorrow...

Of course, some people argue that European competition is where real success is measured, in which case the table reads like this...

8 - Liverpool

3 - Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United

2 - Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Arsenal, Chelsea

1 - Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester City, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Ipswich Town

1, Abramovich is here for the long run, so get used to it.

2, I have always hated arsenal, and your limited success did not change my feelings.
Hated arsenal from at least 1978 from when you were crap for a good number of years.

Why would i be jealous of a team that has never dominated the domestic scene, except maybe the 1930's (when you bribed cheated and bought your way to the top).

Wot 78/79/and 80 when we got to the fa cup finals in every year.Trust me when i say this old ruski nuts will invest in Chelsea until 2010.Then he believes that they should be able to stand on their own two feet. We`ll see.

Well since when has it been all about medals, shows the arrogance of the glory hunting fan like you. You dont even know how many trophies they have won is it 4 or 5.

Lets talk european pedigree, and despite more attempts you are no better but you are worse than Chelsea.

Sorry lost count.Been following Arsenal for well over 30 years.Remember sitting on my dads shoulders on boxing day 1973 with 61,00 other gooners. Arsenal finished about 13 that season.Been through good and bad times, lots of european away days and lots of heartaches along the way. When you play pro football its all about achievement in the form of success.Along the way its about the development of players within your set up. Now we have established that i am not a so called glory hunting supporter tell me your last success in europe and what you get for being knocked out of the semi-finals?I would say the same as not getting through the group stages `zero`.Two league titles under mr Graham along with one fa and two league cups, along with the cup winners cup and one other cwc final.Oh have i missed out 1980 hiesel stadium against Valencia, lost on pens.I sure you don`t want me to run through the last ten years achievements so not to embarris you any more.Oh by the way all those cup finals I WENT TO THEM ALL.Now it`s your turn Roland. 40- love

Try the cup winners cup, Zola scoring the winner 1998.

Interesting scoring system you have!

You are not a proffesional sportsman and so success is of little importance, unless you only support your team because of their success. Its just as impressive to turn up to mundane games in the first division as Premiership deciding games in the top flight.

By the way where's your super-grass mate eastside, what a baby, at least you seem somewhat more literate.
