Unfortunately I am not so lucky.

 

I have been to 11 of the 15 games so far and only seen 3 wins but all 6 defeats !

 

I will be there on saturday , keeping my fingers crossed that this percentage startes to change.

It just my away form letting me down, 4 away trips 4 defeats !

I worked on the theory that an away against Hendon allowed me to miss York at home.

last time I was at Hendon was the Ryman winning year ,where we had the keeper sent off but with 10 men and Satan in goal for most of the match we still held out for a 1-1 draw ( no 10 men headless chicken displays in them days !), which proved crucial in the run in. Fond memories indeed, despite it being a bog of a pitch , Hendon is a fave ground of mine. Wonder if Terry Neill still has the bar there ?

One of the few then-Ryman grounds with a proper terrace behind one of the goals too. That said, it's nice to know Claremont Road matches our ground in terms of dilapidation.
