On another note, what about the shock news that Paul Gascoigne has taken over at Kettering Town?

 

Well, I suppose it puts Kettering on the map, which is quite important for them. Have you been to Kettering?

Very unfortunate name really. I wonder what it means in the dictionary. I'm sure it's something very unsavoury if you're caught Kettering down a dark alley.

 

I've been there once but I don't think I'd go back. It's one of those sleepy little towns where nothing much happens.

 

Hopefully, Gazza will liven things up. It would be lovely to see 11 footballers wearing plastic breasts playing a game. All liking a pint and playing with smiles on their faces or bursting into tears if they lost.

 

I suppose you could say Gazza was on the rocky road, and now he's at Rockingham Road.

 

Ha ha! Is that where they play? I can see the Kettering Town single being released soon with Gazza at Rockingham Road singing Fog on the Nene, or whatever the river's called.

No, of course he won't. He wants to be liked too much. You have to want to be liked to have Chris Evans as a pal for a while.
