Saturday Predictions

No idea, mate.

I think with a membership, it's probably about finding the right balance between big games, and games like West Brom and West Ham that you should comfortably win.

If you were going to do, say six matches in a season, I'd suggest a couple of biggies, a couple of smaller teams, and a couple of cup matches.

From squarefootball.net ...

Saturday’s North London derby is eagerly awaited at White Hart Lane as Spurs fans sense a chance of ending a six-year spell without a win against their old rivals.

In-form midfielder Jermaine Jenas is certainly in confident mood, saying: "Bring on Arsenal, that is what I say.

"They are a great team and we have a lot of respect for them but we are very confident and, on home soil, why shouldn't we fancy our chances?"

Tottenham boss Martin Jol meanwhile is aware that Arsenal have been the dominant force in North London for a number of years but sees no reason why that should always be the case.

He said recently: "Arsenal have been better than us but in football history I don't think that's been the case.

"Spurs were better than them and maybe one day we will be again. If we get a Henry or Vieira then we will do the same as Arsenal, we have the same set-up with young players and we can grow and grow.

"It is about finding big players. When Henry gets to 35 and cannot play anymore, and Arsenal are looking for a replacement, maybe Tottenham will find him first.

"We have found Aaron Lennon. He will be a big player in the future."

Over at Highbury, Arsene Wenger may be weighing up whether to pitch some of his young stars into the derby fray after their impressive performance in the Carling Cup against Sunderland.

"We had a good base, defensively we were strong and they could have dealt with the games in the Premiership,” said the Arsenal boss after that game.

"We have some talented boys out there and they showed it.”

And after last week’s dramatic penalty incident involving Robert Pires and Thierry Henry, Arsenal skipper Henry has promised that he will not be trying anything innovative if his side get a spot kick at White Hart Lane.

"If we get a penalty against Spurs next Saturday, I won't mess around - I'll smash it in the net," he told The Sun.

I splashed out on a membership

a) when off my face around gertchas about 5am on a Saturday <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

But I probably would of got one anyway so

B) To go to games that don't clash with St.Albans, who after all are the team I support

Saying that I would of come to this game except

a) I'm on nights so wouldn't be able to get hammered

B) When the tickets went on sale City were ripping teams apart so fancied that more

c) Fifty fking quid!
