on a serious one its difficult to comment as some people have sympathy and others think he has wasted his life,as someone who has known an alcoholic(now deceased)i know first hand how hard it is for them,but the person who gave him a new liver wouldn't of wanted him to fritter it away.

must be difficult for someone who lives in a goldfish bowl all their lives and is surrounded by the demon that is drink,i am some what sympathetic but as you will see from our forum others are not!

He's 59, had millions of pounds, 100's of fit women and unbelievable talent and had the time of his life.

 

I'd take that and die at 59 rather than plod along like most people in this world and die several years after soling myself on a regular basis in my 80's!

 

If he does pop his clogs he'll be knocking on the pearly gates knowing he's had a good ride!

 

Ask youself this YELLOW would you rather have his life and die at 59 or still be on Canvey Island having lived yours at 80?

I know what one I'd go for!

I'd agree with Bluerat, I'd much rather have a long, healthy life then die slowly and painfully after years of self abuse. He's gonna miss his son getting older (ok, I know he's 24 but you know what I mean!), any grand children he might have and so on. What a waste! I feel a bit sorry for him, but at the same time he has no-one to blame but himself, he's had so many chances and wasted them all.

im with the firm.. what bollox, wasted his life.. i doubt if millions of people will be discussing any of us when we peg it.. much rather slog it out at the bank until your 60 driving a fking mondeo or something n watching non league, looking forward to being 80 in some shitty sunshine home..

so george drank himself to death, what about people who crash their cars driving to fast n peg it.. people who die climbing or sking .. oh no we have to feel sorry for them as those are nice wholesome pursuits... fk that.. give george another liver as least he has some fking fun with em...
