Towns home form is equivalent to that of the bottom 5 teams.Our away form puts us top of the league.

 

Every season since our formation we have been better away from home.We even managed to come third once, after going unbeaten away all season. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

 

We used to blame the pitch, but now that is sorted out,its still happening.Why?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Teams come to Goldsdown Road hoping for a point and play very deep. Town push forward in order to break them down and get caught out at the back.

 

Away from home there are more gaps to exploit - thats my theory and I am sticking to it.

 

Also does the crowd at Goldsdown bring out the best in our opponents. Certainly it seems to me that the away bench shouts louder then they do when we play the teams away from home.
