Suggestions please then as to what will(nb I say what WILL) be put there when it all goes tits up.

Correct,not housing but what else can you think of to replace it. I will tell you what will happen,the building will just be left there to rot with NOTHING else to replace it.It will be a miracle at all if the TC isnt vandalised by local hooligans at night long before then, to a state of disrepair & then it will become a drug addicts paradise of a meeting place.

The council gave it to KCC because they wanted the damn building & the praise for having it in Margate, but couldnt afford it. This way they get both..but we WILL be footing some of the bill,mark my words,though it wont be admitted in public by those that will skinning us to to achieve their goals.

GOALS,GOALS,did I mention GOALS! Come on the "GATE" give us some goals on Saturday please, well at least MORE than Chelmsford score at any rate.

The heads of terms agreement between KCC and TDC says that TDC will not pay for it. KCC will. Ive said this before. You sound like you know otherwise. How will TDC be paying for it?

 

Also where has this figure of 1 1/2 million loss per year come from?

James,where is it that I am disagreeing with you. Indeed you have mentioned it on previous occasions and I have conceded to that.I think you are missing my point here. It dosent matter who paid for the land, at the end of the day it will be US that pay & that is something I would hope even you were against. I do enjoy this debate but like you I wont be swayed from my beliefs.Only time will tell who's right or who is wrong. But in the meantime my little battle to save absurd money going to waste will continue,full pelt & without hindrance.

I do'nt know about you Ian,but i could understand the origional logic of traffic light to calm the sea front.BUT as usual the grand design and necessary required to fulfill the sceme was not forthcoming so we ended up with the chaos that was the light as they were.You have to create an alternative route. Another council folly(the station green bolders) gave me a laugh the other night as i sat waiting for work.A drunk was doing is best to read the text on the stones,but gave up,the look on his face was brilliant,instead as many do he gave up trying to understand and used them to urinate against. Not many minutes later some ferrel kids used them to test there stunt biking skills.The funny part came when one of the little gits fell of. Where were our local constabulary at the time,riding around bettween the two roundabouts.
