An easy win for the scot!

It wasn't easy at all, the first set was one way traffic but Henman came into it at the end, the second was pretty even with both players breaking each other, Murray served for the match but was broken then broke again to take it 7-5. The 3rd set was Henmans set but unlucky in the tie break. It was a pretty scrappy game with a fair few unforced errors.

At the end Murray looked shell shocked, almost in tears that he'd beaten Henman

Henman looked very good in the last set and should take some heart from that!

 

Problem with Henman if he dips down the rankings I can't see him doing a Greg or Agassi and playing Challenger events to get back up the ranking but a challenger event may be just what he needs, a few easy wins and some match practice.

Let's see how he does in Paris next week!

Murray could have a small problem if he progresses in this tournment as he is scheduled to play in the Paris Masters qualifing this Sat/Sun, something he won't be able to do if he gets to the latter rounds of Bastel, but the masters tournments are the next big thing after grand slams
