Is Prague worth a visit?

Anyone been to Prague? Is it worth a visit, as i've always wanted to go there?

In a word, yes.

 

I went there last year for a long weekend and it was great.

Prague Castle is pretty much a full day out and has to be seen to be believed, it's massive.

The city is beautiful and there is loads to do there. Charles Brisge is also a must.

Food and drink is well cheap and there are fit birds aplenty.

 

Only slight issue I had was with the language which is unintelligeble.

If you know any German, it may come in handy as more of them sprechen Deutsch than English.

Brilliant place according to my son. He arranged his stag do over there via the internet. Sightseeing, trip round a brewery, carting. Oh and drinking, of course!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
