£6 to get in

Eastside Urchin

at tilbury tonight when it was only £5 to watch sunderland v arsenal

surely something is wrong there, and it was a competition that we have already qualified for the next round

and to think we have to go back there twice this season

to think we was only charging £6.50 for conf south matches last season, seems the nearer you get to canvey the more chance you have of getting ripped off

yes, but the programme (£1.00 cover price) was free!

so what they did was make a programme purchase compulsory.

i also bought a fiver's worth of raffle tickets as i'd been made to feel so guilty about not having any change.

i then asked what the prize was and he said. no joke...

"erm, i don't know, we'll think of something"

did anyone see or hear of a raffle drawn? wtf?!!?!?!?!!!

i don't always buy a programme though, why should you be made to "buy a programme"

some people even got charged £4 as adults because they didn't know what to charge at times!!

but when i asked one of the blokes they said "it is £6,its £4 for adults in reserve team matches"

now that is a complete rip off!!

well that would explain it then... i just missed the kick off due to playing kick ups with a ball which flew out of the ground on my way out of the bar.

you don't happen to remember the numbers do you?

well that's a relief - not only can i throw these tickets away, but if i'd have won, that would have meant returning to tilbury...

I paid 6 quid to get in (with a free complimentary proggie)...as did tony middleston in front of me...the two people after me were charged 4 quid which I thought was a bit odd...

perhaps they charged us 6 quid and their own six fans 4 quid....

these people struggle to run these clubs money wise and get stuck in the 'low fanbase get as much as you can on the gates mentality'...they should try letting the peoples in free everynow and again and get the No's up...

that reminds me as well...the NTRBD admission fee is a one off 75 quid but the programme and the 'Not The Real Raffle Tickets' are free......

another way at looking at this, is if you are moaning about the price, dont go or wait till it comes on the television or wait outside the ground and listen to the game but I expect you wont find this funny will you
