Billericay 2-0 Heybridge

Considering the conditions (blowing a gale and chucking down with rain) a good game with some good football from both sides. Billericay won due to better finishing from Essandoh and Campbell, whilst the closest Heybridge came was Cobb twice hitting the woodwork. Same starting XI as Saturday, with Lee Williams on the bench (didn't come on)

Essandoh scored the opener midway through the first half when a deep cross from kerrigan was headed back accross goal by Carthy for Essandoh to score with an assured finish. Campbell scored the second of the game ain the second half with a delightful chip over Banks. Good performance from Blues, excellent in attack, with the golden grahams and Campbell and Essandoh pulling the Heybridge defense all over the place. Bring on Stalebuns!

Decent enough win in the rain and wind, especially after saturdays exercions. How many times in the past have we fallen flat on our faces after good cup results. Now for a moan. It was like a bloody morgue last night. Considering saturdays all action game and our current league standing, it was a dire attendance and pitiful vocal support. I think the lads deserved better than that. Lets ALL get to St. Albans on saturday and support the Blues, after all we could be top of the league come 4:45!!
