A few comments v Fisher

Just a few personal opinions. No doubt others will have their views.

Firstly, we did well against one of the most fancied teams in the division. We had them rattled and on the back foot for most of the second half.

Brayley looked superb, although teams like Fisher with a flat back line give him a lot of space to move in the area behind the front two. I hope he is a 'signing', but it will be interesting to see how he does against the likes of Staines/Hampton&R who close midfield players down.

Our second half pairing of Amoako/Remy looked far more dangerous. No disrespect to Leon, but he hasn't got the pace he used to. One of Amoako's best qualities is he knows where the line is and doesn't get caught offside very often. He will have to practise his diving though: Saturday's and tonight's efforts were both pathetic.

What on earth was Sesay doing at right wing-back? He didn't have a clue where he was meant to be. Deen was directing him most of the time. Watching him closely, he does have some skill and he times his defensive tackles well. But my hamster takes better throw-ins. He must have taken about 10, of which at least 8 went straight to an opponent. People on this forum rate him, but to me he is a very unfinished article.

Their penalty was definitely a penalty. Sorry JJ, but apart from that agree with your report 100%.

Standen looked ok and played some good long balls. Smith looked solid. Ryan, some good runs and one excellent cross that troubled the keeper. Bill as good as ever. Deen so-so, but has to take some blame for the goal.

Margate's MOM for me would be Brayley, with JK not far behind.

Don't be disheartened, those who missed the match. We have the basis of a very good team.
