Brilliant result. Who scored? Did the new signings feature? If so who was rested? [color:"orange"] [color:"orange"]

Can't tell you anything about the first half as the North Circular closure meant an arrival at Wingate & Finchley just before the start of the second half. Left home at 5.55pm and got to the game at 8.45pm. According to Steve Hale, Ryan scored the first with a 20 yard chip to equalise after a mistake by Dominique.

Sammy made it 2-1 almost straight after half time getting onto a long through ball and slotting it past the keeper although a needless free kick allowed them to take the ball forward and equalise with ten minutes left. With five minutes to go, Sammy got flattened just outside the box to the left of the goal and Gilksey curled a superb free kick over the wall and past the keeper for 3-2.

Patterson came on with twenty minutes left and looked average although did take a heavy knock shortly after coming on. Metcalfe also came on in the second half as did Adrian Browne for Palmer who was injured.

Very small crowd and no bloody hot food for the second Tuesday running!

Didn't think Zepherin was to blame for the first goal--poor marking was the cause, but he did give away the free kick that the goal resulted from. Spencers goal was a good chip over the keeper, and in the first half we had a couple of shots blocked on the line. With the wind against us in the 2nd half, we had a bit less of the game, but made use of what we did have, scoring twice and hitting the post. Not a comfortable win, but a deserved one.
