having scrolled back a month or two to read of various fans concerns with power mad/over zealous Rambo (whoever he/she is).

Also interesting to read of the banning of under 11's. I though the pre-match announcement saying no unaccompanied under 11's was a bit odd. It occurred to me that had I brought my son with me he would probably have been ejected because rather than spend the whole 90 minutes watching the game he usually ends up having a kick around with his other under age chums.

Also interesting to read of the family ticket "removal" and the ban on swearing.

Re swearing, a number of your stewards mentioned to me about the wfc swearing as an additional justification for the ejections. Perhaps hardly surprising that naughty words were used by beered up blokes being ejected because one of them had a piss.

However, I spent the 1st half standing at the clubhouse end admiring our usually inept defence and heard plenty of swearing from Margate fans. Don't get me wrong, it didn't offend me and imo it's part and parcel of football. Struck me as odd though given the pre match tannoy announcement and the stewards reaction to wfc swearing.

Something seems to be strangely wrong in the state of Margate.

Sorry to keep harping on about Saturday but, to be honest, even if wfc had won 1-0 I'd still be struggling to come to terms with all the odd things that went on off the pitch. It wasn't a happy experience for the writer at all.

You have every right to speak about it and thank you for your views on these issues. They were discussed at length at the recent MISA meeting and although I cant say for certain, Im sure the club is putting in the right measures to sort it out for future fixtures.

 

As had been said with the family ticket, it was being abused with apparent ease, so it had to be replaced with a more appropriate price structure. Swearing is a tricky one and without going back over whats been said in previous threads, I hope the stewards use an element of balance between shouting frustratedly at the team and swearing gratuitously, which isnt welcome.
