Can anyone on here help? I'm trying to find a picture of Kenny Burrett, before Thursday. Anyone got one or know where I can get one?

Actually Gaz, while he was a great centre-half (and right back) I tend to think of his Golden Years as being those when he played centre midfield alongside George Jacks with Brown & Woolfie out wide - possibly our best ever midfield? He really only played CH very early & during the last year & half of our Alliance days when we struggled.

I haven't got the book to hand at the moment, so I assume that's the one where Kenny's scoring a goal with almost the whole Bromley team in the shot and no other Fleet players visible.

And Mike - if it's information about ex-players you're after, someone told me recently about some fellow called Portway who used to play for us. Apparently he was quite good.

Kenny is an all time legend, being as I was a young swanscomber when he was in his prime it was rumoured that he lived there, but never saw him buying his ice cream at Barkers or his groceries from Prings or popping into the Wheatsheaf for leisurely pint , so I was probably duped. To this day I wonder if it was an urban myth.

I remember a couple of years or so after the Nottingham Forest game, there was a player's profile in the programme of Kenny. When asked his most memorable moment in football, he replied, 'nutmegging Trevor Francis.'

When asked his worst moment in football his reply was, 'being nutmegged by Trevor Francis!'
