And i cant agree with Skinner missing out. Hes not far off first on most team sheets. He played very well again yesterday. But i like the formation and possibilities it brings . . . . .

The problem is, it's imperative to play your best players in their best positions rather than choosing a system and trying to fit your best players into it, and Skins doesn't really fit into a 3-5-2 system.

As for Gooding, whether he's Conference standard or not, now he is suspended it's possible Ross will be our only available centre-back for this Saturday.

The most annoying thing is had we been at full fitness we would have won on Saturday.

We can't just rely on Bowry, he's going to miss more games this season, and we need to strengthen the midfield.

The way we're talking it's as if Bobby Bowry is the be all and end all, he isn't. There was a Gravesend & Northfleet before he came along and there'll be one after he leaves.

Had the ref spotted the keeper handling it out side the box on Saturday he would have been sent of, we may have scored and then who knows what would have happened?

We can't keep playing the long ball though, we need to pass it around a bit, take for example the quality movement from the team that lead to Slatters goal v Southport or Jacko's against Woking.

But whatever happens from now we must keep the faith, how we bounce back from this will dictate how our season pans out, a victory over Stevenage on Saturday and our play off hunt is back on.

I hear that some posters are going to be handed out to people on Saturday for people to distribute; I'll take thirty as I know of plenty of places to put them up.

We've taken a knock that’s all, it's hardly life threatening.
