Could CK stop signing players who've been at masses of different clubs ? Bit of a nightmare for the many people trying to keep their Margate player databases up to date.

Margate October 2005

 

Played with Andrew Burke at Spurs, played for Dagenham & R in their Conference Cup game against us at Ashford last season and dislocated his shoulder after 30 seconds of Gravesend's friendly at Folkestone in July.

 

Possibly a Northern Ireland U21 international.

Well done Chris1. I was rather hoping you would refer to the well known coomentator who screwed up. Apparently after an excellent win by Raith Rovers, he said something like "they'll be dancing in the streets of Raith tonight" There is no such place!! - Kirkcaldy correct indeed.

Alan Green on R5 live (on hearing results) said 'they'll be dancing in the streets of Total Network Solutions tonight'. BTW did you know English FA rules state that every club down to non-league step 5 must have a name relating to the town they play in.

Port Vale? I thought that was frequently used in quizzes as what team has a name that is not actually a place

Port Vale play in the potteries town of Burslem.They in the past played on what was a car park (when i was last there)in the nearby town and main stoke on trent shopping area of Hanley.
