IST time on here so here goes

 

very poor display today,but we quite often don,t play well against lower teams.t as with other posters thought clarke was again very poor(must be the no 11 shirt jones,midgely,forbes all wore it)although aprart from kennedy all the midfield were poor,ibe also looked slow and lee just needs a few

more games to be back on top form

i felt today the team selection was a bit naive being a cup match against a lower lge team. Surely we should have played some of our Fringe players in the 1st half, and if we were seen to be struggling then play the regulars. For example start with Tait and Hallet, and Conroy , so at half time replace Hallet with Lee and maybe replace Clarkie orMarioBring on Ibe for the last 15 mins replacing Tait. After all its goals that win games not relentless defending.

Did you not see the sitter that was missed by Lee and the couple of other near misses?

 

I think it looked better after the subs came on.

Exactly, my point. Those subs should have started the game. For one they would have the incentive to proove themselves and if it didn't work then bring on the regulars. A few players looked tired and began making mistakes, they should have been subbed early in the second half; we too often sub when it's obviously too late.

I don't think there was anything wrong with the team selection, it's just that the players did not perform. I do feel however that Jason should be starting alongside Ibe at the moment and that Lee should be the one that comes on.

well i am just wondering what the hell i spent 31 quid on, if i wanted to watch a match like that, i could of saved my money and watched my under 11 fotball team play. Burham deserved to of won, with our crap performance, we were to slow, and lacked the passion for the game, if we make it through to the next round, then i think the players need a long good kick up the backside and come out fighting. I thought Bunce and duffers were the only players wanting to play, i would of taken off minton and put sedgy in there, at least he moves for a ball!!. I would of liked to of seen conroy play i think his kind of pace would of been ideal for this match. Also why do we have ref's with no bottle, number 3 should of clearly been given a red. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

It's like he doesn't have any original ideas for retaliation. Is it worth getting into an argument with the little twat? So from now on, just ignore every thread he sends and continue like normal. This will be my last comment on him.
